Educomp gets Savvica

Educomp, the education services company has recently aquired Savvica, which will add comunity building capabilities to Educomps. Savvica, from Canada, sold 70.05% of it's share to Educomp.

Educomp offers pre-school, K-12, school management, learning leadership management solutions and Smart Class learning management modules as well as online and offline tutoring. Some time back the company had also acquired AsknLearn, a singapore based e-learning content provider. Other than that they have a 76 % stake in ThreeBrix E-services, of learninghour.com fame.

The company has doubled its revenues from Rs 55.5 crore to 110.1 in FY07, and is expected to continue its performance over the next two years.
